It’s holiday light season once again, and one of the best displays in Indiana is Winterlights at Newfields in Indianapolis. My family visited last year and loved how the Newfields campus was transformed with winter wonderland with more than 1.5 million twinkling lights.

The highlight of the whole display is the main lawn where the lights “dance” in time to music from The Nutcracker. I loved all the brightly colored trees here.

I also loved the “Ice Storm Walk” where you walk under a canopy of blue lights with icicles. It really felt like you were walking in a snowy wonderland.

Newfields really goes all out, decorating nearly all of the trees in colorful lights. It’s a sight to behold.

Winterlights runs from 5-9 p.m. through January 8 this season. You can purchase tickets to Winterlights here.
Have you been to Winterlights at Newfields yet? What other holiday lights displays should we check out in central Indiana?
